Nikolai Volkoff
Having a legendary career that spans over four decades, Nikolai was perhaps most well-known for having an audience rise to respect his singing of the Soviet National Anthem. After working for several years in the NWA territories, he started to make a name for himself when he won the WWWF International Tag Titles as one of the Mongols. For most of the next thirty years of his career, from the 70s through the 90s, he worked for the WWF. After a strong showing as a perennial challenger to both Bruno Sammartino and Bob Backlund, he found success in tag team action again, this time teaming with the Iron Sheik and winning the WWF World Tag Team championship at the first WrestleMania. He eventually teamed with Boris Zukhov as the Bolsheviks, and eventually became a proud American citizen, teaming with Jim Duggan to take on Iraqi-sympathizer Sgt. Slaughter. He still makes occasional wrestling appearances at conventions and in the ring, when the occasion arises.

Nikolai was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame, Class of 2005.

Nikolai appeared on Episode 364: Rockin with Ronnie Burton, PCO & Volkoff.
